- Make sure your pets are secure in the house on the Fourth of July. Do not leave them in the yard, or anywhere they can get loose.
- Check to make sure that all of your pets have microchips, up-to-date microchip owner information, collars, and tags with your contact information.
- Try leaving the television and/or stereo on if you are planning to be gone for any part of this day or night.
- Many individuals and families like to set off fireworks on this holiday, so plan to have your pets in a secure location for the whole day and not just during the time of the city's fireworks shows.
We do not want to see you lose anyone! If you have pets, it is a really good idea to prepare for the Fourth of July celebrations by doing the following:
