Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can you keep your prices so low?
A: We mostly service the neighborhood in which we live, so there is very little expense associated with the service for us other than our time.
Q: How do we book you?
A: Email us at kjdole@gmail.com, and we will set up a time to meet your pets and go over all of your (and our) information. You can give us your key at that time if you would like to book the job. There is no charge for this initial consultation.
Q: Can you keep a copy of my key so I can call you for last-minute help?
A: Absolutely! We have lots of client keys in our safe location and are frequently called last-minute for help in emergencies, unexpected delays, etc.
Q: Are you able to pet-sit for my pet who has special needs?
A: Yes! We have many years experience in the veterinary field, and are capable of medicating, assisting with, and advising for your special needs pet (extra rates may apply).
Q: How will I know if everything is going ok with my pet while I am away?
A: We will send you status texts or emails, depending on your preference. If we ever have a question or a problem, we will contact you immediately on the number you provide at the consultation.
Q: Can I call you just to stop by and check on my pet if I am at work or away and am concerned about them during the day for any reason?
A: Sure! Because we live in the same neighborhood as all of our clients, we can pop over for any reason, almost any day of the year.
Q: Do you charge more for visits/walks on holidays?
A: Nope! Just remember to book early, because we do fill up.
Q: Do you care for animals other than cats and dogs?
A: We sure do! We have personally lived with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, tortoises, chameleons, quail, lovebirds, fish, mice, rats, hermit crabs, snails, and a stick bug visits our front door regularly (the postman always gets a kick out of that). We also have experience on farms with chickens, horses, goats, ducks, and sheep, and we have even cared for a 3-legged tortoise, macaws, parakeets, a bearded dragon, a 4-foot long green iguana, and pupating caterpillars. We have clients with all types of fun creatures and we love and welcome them all!
